摘要：We establish the global existence and large-time behavior of classical solutions to the Cauchy problem for the Navier-Stokes with degenerate viscosities in three spatial dimensions with smooth initial data which are of small energy but possibly large oscillations with constant state.

报告人：郭真华，教授，博士生导师，现任西北大学数学学院院长，《纯粹数学与应用数学》常务副主编。研究领域涉及非线性偏微分方程、流体力学方程等。在本领域顶级期刊发表学术论文（SCI）30余篇，曾完成国家自然科学基金项目三项（一项国家自然科学基金青年基金项目、两项国家自然科学基金面上项目），还获得过教育部留学回国人员科研启动金资助。现主持国家自然科学基金重点项目子项目和面上项目各一项和教育部博士点基金一项。曾获得陕西省高等学校科学技术进步奖二等奖一项（2012年）以及陕西省科学技术进步奖二等奖一项（2014年）。主要学术兼职有：中国数学会理事，中国工业与应用数学学会理事，陕西省数学会常务理事，陕西省工业与应用数学会常务理事、副理事长，美国数学会评论员。
